If you are thinking about to buy your phone, you are likely to be wondering which new model will suit you best.If you wish a bigger screen, you have the choice of the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. You will have to weigh up the high price of the iPhone X against the bigger and heavier handset of the iPhone 8 Plus.If you are not keen on the idea of a large handset you have the choice of two phones, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X.

These two iPhone models are smaller and lighter than the iPhone Plus models. The latest iPhone release is iPhone X. It is one of the most interesting Apple’s mobiles phones. It was released at the beginning of November but is still making popular noise on the internet. Everyone is talking about its cool features, it’s amazing power and the most important, its dual camera. The new camera of iPhone X is also just amazing. It comes with a 12 megapixels dual camera system which provides high-resolution images in different formats. While everyone is talking about iPhone X, there is a bit noise about iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Although the latest release is iPhone X, yet the value of iPhone 8 is still solid. There is a bit difference between iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

When iPhone X was launched, there were some many similarities between iPhone X and iPhone 8. That’s the reason people started searching for the internet similarities and differences between iPhone X and iPhone 8. we are going to help you to find out what are the main differences between iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

we will briefly compare every feature and function between these two devices:-

Performance: Chipset and RAM

The first thing to consider is the performance of both of these devices-iPhone 8 and iPhone X both have Apple A11 Bionic chipset with six cores of CPU and six cores of GPU. This CPU architecture allows the iPhone users to experience extremely fast and smooth processes running on the iPhone. You can enjoy multitasking in a smooth process which will give you the best of the mobile experience. On the other hand, iPhone 8 has 2GB of RAM, and iPhone X has 3GB of RAM. iPhone X has a little benefit of 3GB RAM, but it has more resources that are used by RAM. It means it has a more powerful screen and a dual camera which will take more memory as compared to a small screen and a single lens camera. So, the performance of these devices is almost same.

Design – Bulky Vs Compact:

Comparing iPhone X and iPhone 8 screen sizes suggest the former should be huge.Another highlight of Apple’s flagship phone is how compact it is:

iPhone X – 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm (5.65 x 2.79 x 0.30 in) and 174g (6.14 oz)
iPhone 8 – 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm (5.45 x 2.65 x 0.29 in) and 148g (5.22 oz)
The iPhone X may be slightly taller than the iPhone 8, but it is barely any wider or thicker and only 17% heavier. Contrast this also with the 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus – 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5 mm (6.28 x 3.07 x 0.32 in) and 202g (6.63 oz) – and it emphasizes why the removal of the top and bottom bezels on the iPhone X is such a big deal.

The second feature is the screen size of both of the devices. The iPhone 8 has 4.7 inches True Tone LCD screen with 1334×750 pixels while iPhone X has 5.8 inches True Tone OLED screen with 2436×1125 pixels. The iPhone 8 has a smaller screen and is more comfortable for indoor and outdoor uses. On the other hand, iPhone X is designed to have an enhanced mobile experience with a larger screen with more pixels.

The most important feature of iPhone 8 and iPhone X is the camera. The iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X have a 12 megapixels camera. However, iPhone 8 comes with single lens camera while iPhone X comes with dual lens camera. The performance of both of the devices is identical, but iPhone X has some benefits for the dual camera. It allows getting better photos with more light and picture enhancements.

Like the iPhone 8 Plus, the iPhone X has a 12-megapixel telephoto lens which enables 2x optical zoom. This is great for zooming in on photos in good light and should be better than the dual camera on the iPhone 8 Plus as it has a faster aperture (f/2.4 vs f/2.8) and optical image stabilization (OIS). It is also what enables Portrait. The iPhone X and the iPhone 8 are identical with a primary wide-angle rear 12 megapixel, f/1.8 aperture camera with OIS and a 7 megapixel, f/2.2 aperture front facing the camera .

Battery life

Another great feature of iPhone X and iPhone 8 is the battery life. iPhone X has more battery power and performance as compared to iPhone 8. Both of the devices are fast charge capable of charging speed up to 50% charge in just 30 minutes. The only contrast between these two devices is iPhone X has 21 hours of talk time while iPhone 8 has 14 hours of talk time.

The iPhone 8 will disappoint is its battery life. Apple has stagnated with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 all having the similar stamina and history repeats as Apple admits there has been no tangible improvement between the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8.But the iPhone X is different. It’s not a major improvement but Apple claims the iPhone X will last “up to 2 hours longer than iPhone 7” and, while it isn’t clear where this number comes from, Apple’s spec page shows the main boosts are to talk time and audio playback.

Storage And Price :

Here comes the most important part. The good news is the iPhone X and iPhone 8 all start at 64GB this year with 32GB biting the dust. The bad news is there are now just two storage options and while the iPhone 8 has increased $50 against the iPhone 7, the iPhone X takes Apple’s pricing into a whole new stratosphere.

iPhone X – 64GB ($999), 256GB ($1,149)
iPhone 8 – 64GB ($699), 256GB ($849)
The iPhone X is a massive $300 more expensive than the iPhone 8 and $200 more than the iPhone 8 Plus at the same storage capacities and all these prices are before tax.
